Eighty-two percent of U.S. adults say it’s important that their local schools and park and recreation agencies partner to ensure equitable access to open spaces. This includes access to school amenities outside of school hours, including:

  • School playgrounds

  • School fields

  • More than 3 in 5 U.S. adults say this access is extremely or very important.

Each month, through a poll of 1,000 U.S. residents focused on park and recreation issues, NRPA Park Pulse helps tell the park and recreation story. Questions span from the serious to the more lighthearted. The survey was conducted by Wakefield Research.
