In this Product Spotlight, we chatted with Vermont Systems, Inc. (VSI) to learn what inspired the development of their RecTrac software and how it is helping park and recreation agencies manage all their offerings.
Vermont Systems developed RecTrac more than 30 years ago to help one city in Connecticut better manage their recreation programs. They quickly learned their software could provide innovative and comprehensive solutions for many more agencies across the country.
“We basically do everything to automate a park and recreation department from point of sale at all their locations to business processing to the financial backend,” says Patrick Hayden, VSI Director of Product Management.
RecTrac’s 12 modules provide online registration, pass management, league scheduling, ticket sales and more. On top of that, agencies gain access to data and reports that can help with financial management and improve operations.
