More than nine in 10 adults agree that children should learn conservation efforts. Park and recreation agencies across the country are not only stewards of conservation and the environment, they are teachers. Conservation efforts, such as, reducing waste, wildlife preservation and gardening are just a few examples occurring in your local, county and regional parks. These agencies lead classes and groups dealing with topics like climate, how nature promotes physical and mental health and the many benefits of planting trees.
