William Penn Foundation Supporting Outdoor Programming


The William Penn Foundation is accepting applications for the Supporting Outdoor Programming grant, which aims to expand access to meaningful outdoor experiences through park, trail, and water-based programming in Philadelphia and Camden, PA. Priority will be given to projects that serve communities facing barriers to outdoor access, provide engaging and community-responsive programming that is welcoming and easily accessible, and foster lasting connections to nature. Proposals should also demonstrate strong risk management, trusted community partnerships, and sustainability plans. All programs must be offered at no cost to participants. Grant awards will range from $100,000 to $300,000. Eligible applicants include government agencies and 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organizations in Philadelphia and/or Camden. The application deadline is January 29, 2026. Learn more and apply.
