The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is looking for volunteers to host a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) scholarship course. The purpose of this scholarship course is to give professionals who work in communities with access to fewer opportunities the chance to get CPSI certified for free.
The CPSI certification course provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on playground safety issues including hazard identification, equipment specifications, surfacing requirements and risk management methods. In this three-day course, attendees will gain practical, hands-on training on how to apply the ASTM standards and the CPSC guidelines to playground environments.
Why Host a Scholarship Course?
- Hosting is as easy as providing a meeting space location for the course and exam. NRPA will provide the instructor, lunch and course/exam materials.
- Your agency will provide an opportunity for professionals in communities near you to get CPSI certified for free.
- Hosts receive 5 complimentary registrations to get their own staff CPSI certified.
