Top reasons for visiting local parks and recreation facilities include gathering with friends and family, exercising or being physically fit and having a break from day-to-day stresses. Additional reasons people visit these areas span from being closer to nature to experiencing excitement and adventure, connecting with people in the local community to learning a skill or craft.
