For the last two year, NRPA has grown our Sustainability in Practice program, formally enrolling 30 agencies, alongside community partners, in cohorts to learn how to make their parks safer and more resilient. To expand this important work, we have produced resources — informed by lessons learned during the cohorts — to support NRPA members in successfully implementing environmental sustainability practices at parks. This year, NRPA's Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz had a record number of organizations come together to observe and document the incredible species that thrive in our parks. During the month of September, nearly 5,000 people recorded more than 60,000 observations — almost 20,000 more than last year! Learn how you can participate next year.
