Achieving CAPRA accreditation demonstrates your agency’s commitment to providing your community with the highest level of service. Through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) accreditation program, park and recreation agencies showcase their dedication to high-quality operations, accountability and continuous improvement. CAPRA accreditation signals that your agency is aligned with nationally recognized best practices in parks and recreation.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore CAPRA or are ready to pursue accreditation, NRPA is here to help you take the next step with confidence. Getting started begins with understanding the accreditation process, building internal support and preparing your agency for the application journey.
