The National Recreation and
Park Association is governed by a 13 to 19 member Board of Directors comprising
citizens and professionals who represent the diverse interest areas and
disciplines within the parks and recreation industry. The position of life directors was created to recognize and honor
individual citizens and professional trustees who, over the years, have
provided NRPA with exemplary leadership, service, and support. NRPA also
celebrates the leadership of its past
presidents and chairs and National Forum.
