Holiday traditions do not just happen at home. Annually many families head to parks in their community to enjoy popular holiday events, such as a holiday light display, holiday parade or festival, craft or food markets, New Year’s Eve celebrations, and even to get in that themed run. Park and recreation agencies play a huge role in bringing the community together during this festive time of year.
