These four agencies have improved and empowered their communities through innovative practices in park design, health and wellness, conservation and social equity. The NRPA Best in Innovation Award recognizes the best of the best in park and recreation innovation.

 

Voting for the Best in Innovation Award

Voting took place from June 1, 2019 at 12:01 am EDT until 11:59 pm EDT on June 7, 2019.  The identity of the four finalists will not be revealed until after the public vote closes to ensure each Innovation Award winner is given the same opportunity to win Best in Innovation, regardless of agency name or location. The Best in Innovation winner will be announced on September 24, 2019 at the Opening General Session at the NRPA Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland!
