At the end of July, NRPA launched Open Space Radio — a podcast dedicated to providing timely interviews and interesting news every week. Now, you can take the latest trends and news from the field of parks and recreation with you wherever you go.

Staying up-to-date with trends in the field is important for your agency and your own career growth, but finding time in your already busy day may be difficult. With Open Space Radio, you can listen to the latest park and recreation news during your commute, at the gym or even while touring your facilities.

Our first few episodes cover hot topics like the world’s first ultra-inclusive waterpark, lawsuits surrounding parks and augmented reality games, and research that indicates recreation fees can restrict public lands use.
