Share Your #NRPACongress Great Ideas!

Staying connected through social media at Congress will help you get the most out of your trip to Houston.Don’t forget your charger! You do not want to be stuck with a dead smartphone or tablet at this year’s Congress. There will be way too many great ideas and exciting moments to share. From the time you arrive at the airport to when you hit the convention center halls, you’ll want to share your experience, great ideas heard and more through all your social networks — on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.

Social media is a great way to make even more connections while you are at Congress and broaden your experience. To be social media-ready, make sure you have your social media apps loaded and that you are following NRPA. Search for and use the hashtag #NRPACongress in all your social media posts and you’re guaranteed a spot in the conversation.  

Here are some ways to connect virtually:  

OK, so how do you follow NRPA?  Easy! On Facebook, search for us by name or just click here and like our page. Head on over to Twitter and follow us on @NRPA_News. There you can create a search for the Congress hashtag, #NRPACongress, so that you see all the posts and tweets as they happen! If you use TweetDeck or HootSuite, create a search stream using the hashtag, which will filter and notify you of posts so you can keep up and join in!

Get the Congress Mobile App! Use it to create a schedule, view maps, and connect to Twitter and the NRPA blog, where we’ll keep you updated on daily happenings and insights.   

Share your Great Ideas and more. Feel free to share on social media great ideas you are hearing, lessons you are learning, what sessions you’re attending, all the cool things you are finding on the Expo floor, great pictures and more! (Just don’t forget that hashtag!) We’ll be sharing and retweeting your comments broadly — who knows, you may see your tweets or posts in other places, too!
