NRPA Statement on Congress’ Two-Year Budget Deal

Barbara Tulipane, CAE, president and CEO of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) issued the following statement in response to the two-year budget deal reached by Congress:

“NRPA is pleased that congressional leaders were able to come to an agreement, raising spending caps for two years, reopening government and extending the continuing resolution through March 23, 2018. While we wait to see how these new funds are allocated, we will continue to advocate for our key priorities and keep members up-to-date on any important details.”
