The Washington Post Honors NRPA With 2016 Top Workplaces Award

Ashburn, Va. (June 20, 2016) — For the third year in a row, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by The Washington Post. In its third annual survey, The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces list spotlights private, public, nonprofit and government agencies with the highest ratings from their employees in a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics.

Based in Loudoun County, Va., NRPA is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of public parks, recreation and conservation nationwide. The award-winning association employs 60 full-time professionals that specialize in operations; conferences; conservation; membership and professional development; research; finance; marketing and communications; publishing; partner and business development; and public policy. NRPA staff is dedicated to providing support to the association’s 50,000+ members.
