NRPA would like to thank our members for making July’s Park and Recreation Month a resounding success! 

As of press time, July 25, there were 1,081 mentions of Park and Recreation Month and #JulyOUTisIN on Twitter, 1,029 mentions on Facebook, 659 mentions on Instagram, 73 mentions on blogs and two mentions on YouTube. The total social media mentions came to an impressive 2,844. NRPA’s presence on social media also grew with 5,423 new Facebook followers, 391 new Twitter followers and 132 new Instagram followers, totaling 5,946 new followers on the association’s social platforms since July 1. As well as being featured on social media, Park and Recreation Month was mentioned 164 times in the news.
