The National Aquatic Management School (NAMS) is new and improved for 2010! In an effort to create a strong academic environment, and maintain the abundant networking opportunities NAMS is known for, the school has taken on a new format for 2010.
This year the school will have an inclusive format with breakout sessions for each one of the levels. For the first time in NAMS history, students enrolled in any one level will have an opportunity to network with students from the other levels, and, still have the opportunity to learn specific information related to their level of expertise.
The intent of the new format is to create a highly interactive atmosphere where students enrolled in any level will have the opportunity to learn and share with each other. Students will be able to share their knowledge and learn from some of the most elite professionals in the field.
The school takes place over two days. Day One is dedicated to topics such staff training, recruitment, succession planning, customer service and risk management. Day Two includes sessions about programming, marketing, budgeting, maintenance and more. The complete schedule with assigned faculty can be found here.
The hand selected faculty has expertise with a wide variety of subjects pertinent to the aquatic profession. Students will enjoy a logical progression of information taught from a team of faculty working together. The faculty is committed to providing a strong academic environment, while still having a little bit of fun.
