Event Took Place October, 11, 2011
NRPA partnered with National Geographic Kids magazine to help break the Guinness World Record for the most people doing jumping jacks. Let's Jump! supported First Lady, Michelle Obama's Lets Move Initative which encouraged kids and families to get healthy and active.
Participants were encouraged to join in the fun and organize an event at one of their park or recreation facilities.
Exercise can be fun—especially if you’re breaking a Guinness World Record! Kids and adults were encouraged to help break the record by doing one minute of jumping jacks during one 24-hour period on October 11, 2011.
