Together, The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) and NRPA are bringing boating and fishing funding and resources to local park and recreation agencies through the Take Me Fishing™ initiative. Reconnecting kids with nature and engaging them in recreational boating and fishing activities is what Take Me Fishing is all about.
Over the past seven years more than 740,000 youth and families have participated in recreational boating and fishing activities. In 2012-2013 NRPA awarded 22 communities grant funding to establish new or expand existing boating and fishing programs.
Become a "Where to Boat and Fish" Map Partner
A Map Partner will add the “Places to Boat and Fish” map onto your agency website. The map is an interactive and searchable map where anyone can find fishing hotspots, places to boat and points of interest in your community. Local merchants and businesses have the capability to add their information to the map along with anglers and boaters can add their personal fishing/boating hotspots. The more data that is entered into the map the more useful the tool may become for your community. Watch how to add the map to your web site.
