Parks and Conservation

Trap Pond State ParkNRPA supports and encourages park and recreation agencies to protect the environment for future generations and engage youth and adults in active learning and outdoor recreation.

According to a 2013 survey by the National Environmental Education Foundation, a majority of Americans consider parks to be a trusted source for environmental information. Through a variety of programs, NRPA helps equip park and recreation agencies to serve this role as conservation leaders in their communities.
