Edith Upchurch Innovative Programming Forum

After evaluating the expected attendance for the 2009 NRPA Edith Upchurch Innovative Programming Forum, February 18-20 in Eatonton, Georgia, we have made the decision to cancel the forum for this year. Though Edith Upchurch has remained a popular program for more than 35 years, today’s economic climate has forced the NRPA community to impose strict limitations on all areas of travel, including the required expenses for professional development. As our members continue to juggle their learning needs with budgets that cannot support all of those needs, our attendee participation for the 2009 Edith Upchurch program has been minimized to a degree that would affect the learning experience for all.

NRPA remains committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and we hope that you will take advantage of other upcoming educational opportunities that meet your needs, including the March 17-20 National Legislative Forum in Washington, DC, ongoing online courses through the Pyxis® Learning Center and the annual NRPA Congress and Exposition in Salt Lake City, October 13-16.

Thank you for your support of NRPA and its educational offerings.
