Volunteering at Congress
NRPA and the host city for Congress utilize volunteers to help the event run smoothly. With so many different areas of need, several hundred volunteers are used to accomplish a successful show. Both Members and Non-Members could volunteer and all volunteer hours counted toward some level credit toward event registration as compensation. Some of the activities could be registered for through NRPA’s website, and others were made available through the Local Host Committee (LHC) on their volunteer website. Below were the hours associated with the member/non-member credits toward registration and the different opportunities for which volunteers could register.
