Discover Archery
In partnership with the Easton Foundations, NRPA
offered a professional development grant, "Discover Archery" for park and
recreation agencies with existing archery programs. "Discover
Archery" offers park and recreation professionals training and certification
in archery instruction.
The grant provides scholarships for selected
park and recreation professionals to receive specialized training
(includes training, travel, accommodations and meals) for five days at
either of the two nation's premier archery training centers located in
South Dakota or Florida. In addition, the "Discover Archery"
professional development grant includes $5,000 worth of specialized
equipment.
The 2012 Discover Archery grant has been awarded to the
