Online Learning Course-related Questions

Q: Do any of your courses offer credits or certification?
A: Yes. NRPA is an IACET authorized provider. Please see the information page about Continuing Education Units.

Q: How do I access the Online Learning Center?
A: Sign in or create an account to access the online learning center.

Q: Do I need to be a NRPA Member to access the Online Learning Center?
A: No. The Online Learning Center is available to anyone interested in taking a course. NRPA Members receive discounted pricing on all courses as well receive special promotional discounts throughout the year. NRPA Members also have access to the NRPA Knowledge Center which is housed in the online learning center. See Member Benefits or contact our customer service staff directly at 1-800-626-NRPA (6772).

Q: How often do the courses run? When are they offered?
A: Online learning courses are self paced and can be accessed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Q: If I am unable to complete my course due to circumstances, can I move to another session or extend my access?
A: Please contact the E-Learning Staff directly to discuss your situation in order to determine the appropriate solution to meet your needs.

Q: Do you license your content to third parties or corporate universities for internal use?
A: Please contact the E-Learning Staff directly for details.

Q: Are there a maximum number of students per course?
A: There is no maximum.

Q: Do I need to buy any books or additional software?
A: No. The course materials are all online, so you do not need to purchase any books or software.

Q: Can I take your courses if I don't live in North America?
A: Yes, you can take our courses from any country as long as the technical requirements are met. (In regards to online learning events such as live chats, those are usually held in Eastern Daylight Time and posted for those who are unable to attend).

Payments, Refunds, and Discounts Questions

Q: Is there a group/bulk rate discount structure available for your courses?
A: Yes. Please contact the E-Learning Staff directly for inquiries.

Q: Is there a discount for registering for multiple courses?
A: Yes – NRPA offers course bundles that allow learners to receive a discounted rate on a group of similar courses following a particular track.  Browse our catalog for a list of all course offerings.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept Purchase Orders, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Q: What is your refund/cancelation policy?
A: If you have not yet accessed the course, you can receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Once you have accessed your course or are outside of the 30 day refund window, you will not be able to obtain a refund. You can, however, switch to another course of similar value at no additional cost or choose a course of higher value and pay the difference.

Q: How much will it cost to take a course?
You can find the course prices by browsing the catalog in out online store or by browsing the downloadable catalog.
