CPSI Recertification and Retesting

Renewal or retesting for the CPSI certification ensures that professionals are knowledgeable on the current standards and guidelines applicable to playground safety. To renew or retest for your CPSI certification, a CPSI must pass the current examination. The exam is offered on the third day of the CPSI course or by computer-based examination through NRPA. If you would like to take the exam on the third day of a course you must register with the state agency hosting the CPSI course.Check the course schedule for a course in your area. If you would like to take the examination by computer-based testing you may apply for the examination on our website.  For information on computer-based testing or the paper pencil examination please read through the CPSI Candidate Handbook.

***** NRPA suggests that even those professionals renewing their CPSI certification take the CPSI classroom course or the CPSI online prep course modules to prepare for the CPSI examination.
