PRORAGIS: QuickStart Version
Start Your PRORAGIS QuickStart Profile
What is PRORAGIS QuickStart?
PRORAGIS QuickStart is an easy way for park and recreation departments to take a first look and begin contributing to NRPA’s PRORAGIS database. Before committing to completing a PRORAGIS Lite or Full profile, why not start with QuickStart -- just 20 questions! NRPA members will receive a report based on the topline data that they submitted to their QuickStart profile.
How will the information submitted in PRORAGIS QuickStart benefit our agency?
After your department submits a QuickStart profile, you will immediately receive a custom QuickStart report based on data submitted. Because PRORAGIS QuickStart requests only the most essential park and recreation information, the data is used to quickly calculate core operational ratios in a summary Quickstart report.
How does PRORAGIS QuickStart differ from Full and Lite profiles?
PRORAGIS QuickStart is a much shorter profile than PRORAGIS Lite or Full. QuickStart was created to give even the busiest park and recreation departments the opportunity to use and benefit from NRPA’s PRORAGIS database. We expect that many departments will start with Quickstart, then progress to completing either a Lite or Full profile.
What do I need to get started?
Departments completing PRORAGIS QuickStart are asked to submit topline jurisdiction, budget, personnel, and parklands information. With only 20 questions to respond to, most users should find less than an hour time required to complete the QuickStart profile. Of course, QuickStart users may choose to estimate some of the information and at a later time update the data in their QuickStart, Lite, or Full profile.
What kind of data will I receive in the QuickStart report?
Though much more brief than a Full or Lite report, our QuickStart summary report is based on topline data and features instrumental ratios. These data points were included because they were determined to be some of the most essential to daily park and recreation work. All NRPA members that submit a QuickStart profile will receive such a report.
If you decide that you would like to dig further, you are encouraged to complete a PRORAGIS Lite or Full PRORAGIS profile. Data submitted in QuickStart will auto-populate to your Lite and Full profiles. Submitting a Lite or Full profile will give your department access to even more valuable reports.
