NAC 2011 Event Highlights

February 16-19, 2011
Bahia Resort Hotel
San Diego, California

The 2011 National Aquatic Conference & Exposition (NAC) will focus on the community benefits of aquatics; providing the space, people, and programming that allows for people to engage, get fit, and develop mentally and physically.

Highlights:

  • NAC 2011 will be a shorter overall event than in years previous (taking place over four days), allowing professionals to spend fewer hours away from the office and home, and decreasing travel costs.
  • Individuals will have the opportunity to earn more total CEUs than in 2010, making it possible for attendees to maintain certifications in fewer days and participate in more professional development opportunities.
  • NRPA will increase this year’s exhibit hall hours.
  • The opening and closing sessions will include keynote segments with prominent speakers.
  • There will be more receptions and all-attendee meals, allowing for increased networking opportunities.
  • NAMS 2011 will have a revised format, which will include online learning and in-person training and networking.  A comprehensive, standardized curriculum is being developed in conjunction with these school revisions, setting the stage for the development of a Certificate in Aquatic Management program.
  • There are new individuals on the planning committee representing military aquatic operations--allowing for the introduction of new sessions in this topic area.
  • The Bahia Resort Hotel is an impressive resort in the heart of San Diego, Calif.!
