Serving Kansas Communities

Kansas Health FoundationNRPA in partnership with the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) is giving grants to five park and recreation agencies in Kansas to enhance summer feeding programs while also offering fun health education opportunities as well as community gardening. NRPA’s Serving Communities 2012 grants are helping park and recreation agencies increase the number of children receiving healthy meals and nutritional education during out-of-school times. 

The 2012 Serving Communities funded through NRPA with support from the Kansas Health Foundation are:

Parsons, KS
Salina, KS
Wichita, KS
