Step Up to Health…It Starts in Parks

This course is the result of five years of collaboration with various partners to develop and test a grassroots community mobilization model designed to effectively address the obesity crisis and other social concerns through the leadership of the park and recreation movement. The Step Up to Health movement positions park and recreation agencies as catalysts and facilitators around issues such as youth development, healthy lifestyles and active aging.
