NRPA leaders provide guidance to the affairs of the organization. The mix of citizens and professionals from all areas of parks, recreation, and the conservation movement representing the public, private, voluntary, commercial, and industrial sectors makes for a unique and comprehensive voice.
By channeling issues, concerns, and solutions NRPA leaders bring state and regional issues to a national focus, and help to plan NRPA events and programs. Many of the following groups and committees are appointed positions with specific terms.
