    The 49th annual National Recreation and Park Association Congress will provide hundreds of education and learning opportunities through educational tracks specifically tailored to parks and recreation.


    Education Sessions

    This year, the NRPA Congress will offer a variety of education sessions of differing types. Learn more:


    Off-Site Institutes (OSIs) and Pre-Congress Workshops (PCWs)

    NRPA Pre-Congress Workshops (PCWs) are half-day and full-day workshops that lead up to NRPA’s Congress. Covering such topics as finance, customer service, and marketing, these workshops are a valuable addition to your professional development plans. Registration is required.

    Off-Site Institutes (OSIs) provide an opportunity to experience firsthand practical applications of park and management practices in local settings and environments. Registration is required


    Brand+Aid Marketing Institute

    Brand Aid LogoThis year, for the first time ever, there will be an entire Pre-Congress Workshop dedicated to marketing for the parks and recreation field. The Brand+Aid Marketing Institute will give you the knowledge you need to expand your branding and marketing in a progressive and purposeful manner. On top of the wealth of marketing knowledge being shared, lunch is provided and 0.6 CEUs can be earned. A full list of sessions is available here.     Glass Room Sessions

    The Glass Room Sessions are intended to engage participants in high-level discussion and exploration of cutting-edge issues and topics affecting park and recreation agencies today and in the future. CEUs will not be offered and attendance will be limited to 50 people on a first-come, first-served basis. The glass room will be located at booth 2209 in the exhibit hall.
