The NRPA Congress and Exposition: A Daily Video Blog

by Kayode Lewis, Taylor Potter | Posted on October 7, 2013

You’ve been looking forward to it and now it is here – NRPA Congress and Exposition! We’ve arrived in Houston, Texas and look forward to seeing thousands of you this week! While you are here or even if you are not, go on a journey with two individuals as they document their time at Congress through a daily video blog (or vlog).  One is a young professional in the field and the other is a student learning about the field.

Follow along all week to get their take on the Congress experience and check back each day to see how things are going for them as they embark on the nation's premiere event in parks and recreation. (Watch Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4 video blogs)

Meet the daily video bloggers:

Kayode Lewis, M.Ed., CPRP, serves as Recreation Coordinator II for the City of Greenbelt, Maryland.

Taylor Potter is currently a student at The University of Mississippi.

Today's blog comes from Kayode Lewis:
